The Plymouth, IN, Food Service Packaging plant is seeking a Bobst Flatbed Die Cut Operator/Assistant, $17.
84/hr, to $22.
31/hr (depending on experience) who will be an integral part of the Plymouth team supporting the running and maintaining the dies and related equipment.

Follow all machine specific lockout/tagout procedures on an as needed basis.
Maintain full compliance of all GMPs.
Participate and ensure department is compliant with SQF/YUM audit regulations.
Maintain housekeeping excellence in accordance with 5S Standards.
Read and understand product specification sheets.
Inspect finished product to ensure quality specifications are met.
Perform all required customer and departmental quality checks.
Responsible for mounting flatbed tooling, sheeter, repair knives, and spot tape anvil.
Work with Die & Plate Coordinator in prepping the cutting die for operation.
Cleaning, lubricate and ensure the functionality of all die cutting materials.
Perform quality checks for die and finished product.
Properly mount the cutting / sheeting modules.
Maintain and adjust stacker for proper delivery of cartons.
Maintain waste generation at or below budgeted standard.
Perform scheduled machine PMs and enter work orders as needed.
Coordinate with shift supervisor and wet end operators to meet or exceed productivity goals.
Monitor dry end personnel for safety, quality, and productivity.
Work overtime as determined by the department supervisor or the production manager when customer demands require it and/or other mitigating factors.
What you need to succeed:
High School Diploma or GED preferredAny equivalent combination of experience and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.
Prefer work experience in a corrugated manufacturing plant or Bobst Flatbed die cutting.
Must be self-starting/self-motivated and able to work independently.
Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have a sense of urgency to complete tasks accurately and on time.
Good communication skills including the ability to interact with other levels of management and staff.
All other duties as assigned.
