A typical day in the life of a Process Improvement Champion is spent learning about People, Processes, Prevention, and Performance.
These are the processes that go into making a product Safely, within Quality parameters, at a Cost and productivity that is market competitive.
The Process Improvement Champion will rotate through various functions of the Area, typically spending six months to a year in the assigned function which provides exposure and knowledge to various areas of the business.
This position will be responsible for assisting and driving in process improvement activities that he or she will receive training for.
Assists Managers in prioritizing and helping instruct floor level operators in the pursuit of operational excellence.

What you need to succeed:
Bachelor's degree Required (Desired Fields:
Packaging, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, or Business)Technically proficient and able to learn and understand new processes.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and non-verbalTechnology proficient.
Microsoft Office Suite proficient.
Ability to work independently and within a team environmentSelf-Motivate for the purpose of Winning TogetherLearn new processes quickly and work closely with Management to affect change.
Learn to Develop:
Relationships with the various stakeholders to maximize knowledge attainment/business alignmentAnd use company resources to provide value added services to assigned functionAnd learn WestRock policy, process, and procedures for assigned functionProcess Improvement techniques and how to affectively implement change in production processes.
