Utility / Ammonia Technician

We have an opening for a Utility / Ammonia Technician. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a fast growing food manufacturer with three manufacturing facilities across the country, and more than 400 employees committed to excellence. An overview of the job responsibilities and skills are as follows:

Maintain Ammonia System and Equipment
Help maintain PSM Program and documentation
Maintain and repair HVAC and Refrigeration Equipment
Maintain Boiler Equipment Operations
Perform Preventative Maintenance on Utility Equipment
Preform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Rotating weekend on-call responsibilities
Ability to organize assigned tasks
Ammonia Operator Certification (required)
PSM Training a plus
Good interpersonal skills
Basic electricity
Motors & Motor Controls

The employee has the responsibility to help maintain the PSM Program and keep the Ammonia and Refrigeration equipment running at all times and to support the whole Maintenance Team within his or her abilities. Candidates will be expected to cross train and maintain training on both Boiler and Ammonia Systems. Only candidates with the above mentioned skills will be considered. Candidates with experience in the food industry are preferred. The exact working shift has not been determined.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
