Pay:
Starting at $19.
50/hr, overnight and weekend shifts have additional shift differentialBi-weekly pay$500 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates Total Rewards:

2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off rotation.
Working 3-4 days/week (One week:
Sun, Wed, Thurs Next week:
Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat).

Summary:
Bakers are the start of the pretzel making process.
You'll be responsible for running a large mixer and extruder with computer programing and hand measuring.
Previous machine operating experience is a must.
Large bakery experience is a plus.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Follow all SOPs to keep consistent product qualityRecognize the different dough texturesKeep hoppers filled with proper amount of doughProperly measure the minor ingredients by performing catch samplesCheck dough temperatureCheck the flour sifter each shiftCheck all drives, cookers, salters, ovens, dryers, discharge, and proofing conveyors to ensure they are properly operating and set to correct settingsDocument cuts per minute as requiredCheck and record caustic every 30 minutes record on BakerQCCheck wet weights/length every 30 minutes record on BakerQCMake inventory moves in S4 HanaRecord all ingredient lot numbersKeep salter full with the correct level.
Notify leads, QA, and packers of any bad product and how long it will lastCommunicate with immediate supervisor if any problems ariseAll other duties assigned by supervisor and management Minimum
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age at time of hire.
High School diploma or GEDOne month related experience or trainingAbility to read and comprehend simple instructionsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, and decimals Preferred
Qualifications:
Experience in a manufacturing/food manufacturing environment including the following:
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safe Quality Foods (SQF), Autonomous/Preventative Maintenance, Continuous Improvement, and Warehouse Management Systems such as SAP/LPR.
